The Body of Christ

The Body of Christ - Jesus Christ calls us to love Him first then to love our neighbors as ourselves. It is easy to say that you love Jesus as the head of the body but the hardest thing is to say that you love the church, the Body of Christ, the neighbor.

We are part of the Body of Christ and it is hard for us to love those that hurt us or hurt our family members. What happens when the body is sick?  We go to a doctor and with God’s help we either get medicine or get operated to remove the sickness (cancer). I believe that at this time the body of the Church has a major cancer (see news) and it is through a major operation and chemo that the body needs to go through in order to heal. Yes, it will heal because it is the Body of Christ and it will continue until the ends of time.

 Take time and look at the symptoms (signs) of the cancer in your own household and if necessary take the appropriate steps to get rid of the cancer. Sometimes it is hidden but if you get a great checkup, through the power of God it can be found before it kills your love ones. Pray for the Body of Christ as we continue to heal and get rid of the cancer that it is attacking it at home and the church. "If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:6
