Projects?
Projects include basic watherization, painting, roofing, drywall, minor repair and construction or porches,
steps, wheelchair ramps, cleaning. The projects selected are appropriate for the age group attending the workcamp. Experienced
maintance and home repair volunteers make daily, on-site visits to snsure quality workmanship, and assist workcampers with
the skills necessary to complete their projects. All repairs are made at no cost to the residents.
Who Do We Work With?
All Sr. High youth work in groups or "workcrews" of seven people selected from all workcamp participants.
The same workcrew work tother all week on one worksite. Jr. High participants at combination workcamps will work toether in
teams of three or fout from their own youth group paired with another youth goup team. Each Jr. High team will have at least
one of their own adult sponsors assigned to them. Jr. High and Sr. High workcrews are assigned to separate worksites.
Who Can Attend?
Students entering 7th grade through 12 grade. Young adults through age 20 can also attend workcamp.
